The key to any successful construction job, large or small, is communication.  Doug talks to the owner during the construction process and he will explain on the front end what will happen after evaluating exactly what the customer wants and consults the customer as changes or situations arise.  You can expect your phone calls to him to be returned in a timely fashion. 

Doug prices the job as accurately as can be expected before the start of the job and only charges more or less money if the scheme of the job changes.  He also explains on the front-end when payments are expected so there are no surprises.  Doug never fails to provide invoices for materials and labor on the job, if needed. 

Doug maintains as clean a job site as possible and his staff is vigilant concerning the jobsite and, upon completion, the site is finished and clean.  He cares. 

I have used Doug Myhand on two really challenging jobs and have been very pleased, and often impressed, with his ideas and ability to execute his plans, even if this customer has no plan.  I could recommend Doug for new construction or remodeling with confidence and no reservation.

We have done two extensive renovations to our home in the past 4 years, both using Myhand Construction. One included, among many other things, adding an entire second floor to our house.  In both projects, Doug Myhand and his crew came in on time, within budget, and were fantastic to work with.  Not only is Doug Myhand a great builder, but he has a fantastic eye for detail and provides innovative solutions and options for all the unexpected issues that arise during a remodel. 

We are now thinking about possibly doing a major renovation to our kitchen and deck next year, and I'm certain our first call will be to Myhand Construction.
